We encourage our guests to enjoy eating while they are here when the fish are at their very best freshness and taste. The best eating size fish: walleye 15 – 18 inches, perch 9 – 12 inches and northern pike 22 – 28 inches.

That mean you need atleast 2400 dollars in your net to play even, not counting your advanced license (200 for 1 Real Life Day/ 24Hours). When water levels are low, it is an autonomous, deep basin. This little lake caught between Alberta Highway 3 and Sentry Mountain is, seasonally, an extension of Crowsnest Lake, on Southwest Alberta’s Crowsnest Pass. Fishing: Perch, pike, small-mouth bass, bullhead and panfish swim in the waters of Emerald Lake. Boating: Emerald Lake is restricted to non-motorized watercraft. Swimming: There is a beach with great swimming areas at the park. If you enjoy the challenge of fishing hard-to-access lakes in the high alpine, then fishing the Lake O’Hara area will keep you entertained for days! The lakes that surround this beautiful hike in lodge and campground have some exceptional fishing for native west slope cutthroat and brook trout.
